National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has a website
that has been established by the United States Federal Government.
The FBI, U.S.
Customs Service and U.S. Postal Inspection Service have formed a partnership with
the Center and the website serves as a national tip line for child pornography.
The address is www.ncmec.org and the
phone number is 1-800-843-5678. The tip
line is a result of complaints to local agencies by citizens receiving unsolicited
child pornography sites on work and personal computers.
Child pornography is illegal in the U.S., no matter where the site is
generated or the information sent from. If you receive an e-mail that contains child
pornography or links you to a child porn site, please notify the tip line immediately.
The authorities will need important information contained in the e-mail address.
Cyber porn is a growing business and is very detrimental to children involved.
Please
do your part to help these child victims.
